What is quidditch and kidditch?

Quidditch is the flying sport played in the Harry Potter series.  The sport has been adapted for the ground and is currently played by over 1,000 high school, college, and community teams world wide.

Kids can get involved too! Kidditch is quidditch for kids. There are modified rules to the game in order to allow kids of younger ages to participate. The major rule change is that there is absolutely no tackling or physical contact in kidditch unlike quidditch.  The kids will be supervised at all times by members of the BGSU and Toledo quidditch teams, and will be able to take as many breaks as they need.

Kidditch is a sport so your child will be involved in physical activity such as running and needs to be dressed appropriately for the weather.  Please do not allow your child to wear Harry Potter robes as it will be way too hot and we do not need anyone getting overheated.

Please make sure your child has a sack lunch with non-perishable food items that can be kept outdoors.  Please have their full name on the bag. More information will be provided with registration.
